This post will consist of both tutorials and exposition. Tracking a satellite dish can be so much joy as well as huge frustration. The honest truth is that we have many installers in Africa. We have few professional installers and we have extremely few innovative and creative installers. I will bring to your awareness some outstanding or let me say how the best Nigerian satellite installers that can help you track Nigcomsat and 3 other satellites on a 90cm dish.
Closely related: how to track 16e(new mytv), Dstv(36e), joy-tv and startimes on a 90cm dish
I will bring to the delight of my readers today, a geek of an installer. When I call an installer a geek, I mean he can think out of the box and come up with the most convenient way of installing satellite channels. A big shout out to others out there as I know quite a few who are very creative. Installation is tedious and we choose to dodge it at the slightest opportunity. I do not know when last I have done any dish installation outside the ones I have at home. For this singular reason, I always give kudos to any installer who think out of the box to deliver a great idea.
How Some Great Nigerian Satellite installers track Nigcomsat and 3 other Satellite on a 90cm
To be honest, every satellite enthusiast can think out installing multiple satellites on a small dish. The actual problem lies in the fact that executing it is not easy. And the most discouraging aspect of it all is that it is time-consuming(especially the first time). I for one hardly do any external installation nowadays.
In this post, the installer that goes by the name Adedayo(more info about him at the end) tracked four close Fta satellite channels with a one-meter dish. The satellite he installed on the dish is Nigcomsat(42.5°E), Joytv(28.5°E), Yamal/champion tv(55°E) and Old mytv position(68.5°E). These are 100% FTA channels meaning you will not need to worry about scrambling. The good news is that Amentv on Joytv often shows live soccer(UCL mostly).
Requirements for Tracking Nigcomsat & 3 other satellite on a 90-CM Dish
For you to be among one of the best Nigerian satellite installers, you need to be innovative and creative. Secondly, if you can do it with by putting too many efforts, your ability may be questioned. But if you can do installations effortlessly, then you are up there. Below are what you need for this particular installation:
- Firstly, you need the dish 1-meter dish recommended(but you can use a 90cm dish which is the standard DS*v size)
- Secondly, you surely need good quality LNB. you need four in all(please do not go buy this yourself)
- Thirdly, you need high-quality LNB cable. This should be double the amount you would have used for a single LNB installation
- Finally and not the least important are improvised LNB holders(You can only get this from selected installers and satellite shops)
- Noteworthy: F-connector, clips, DiSEqC switch and any other as may be required.
Once you get the above ready through the help of your installer, you can watch him perform his magic.

How you can track Yamal, MultiTv, old mytv and Nigcomsat using a 90CM Dish
What these best Nigerian satellite installers have done in tracking Nigcomsat and 3 others simultaneously is simple but not easy. They have saved you money and space. Instead of you buy four dishes, four LNBs and littering your house with dishes, you can buy just one and get what you would have gotten on four. Alternatively, instead of you buying a big dish and motorizing it, you can get one without motor and watch similar channels(Please do not get me wrong, nothing compared to the big dish).

Nigcomsat and 3 other channels that you can track with a 90-CM Dish
Now, I will list the other three satellites that you can track alongside NigComSat 1R at 42.5°E on a 90-CM dish. For a comprehensive guide on how to track Nigcomsat channels, read my article here
-
Nigcomsat 42.5°E. Frequency: 12518 H 29500
Channels list
-
Biafira TV(aka champion tv) on Yamal 55°E.Frequency: 11045 V 40000
-
Multitv / joytv 28.5°E. Frequency: 12525 V 30000
-
Old mytv position at 68.5ºE with Frequency: 12602 V 26650
Why You Should have a tested and trusted Installer
The above looks so simple but it is not really very simple. To start with, if you really want to save yourself from immediate and future anxiety and frustration, you need a proven hand. Furthermore, you can end up paying double the required amount if you use just any installer. For example, you can pay your installer who might pay a more experienced one for guidance if things get knotty. Finally, your own local installer may just do 1 out of four or ask you to buy a 1.2m dish to be able to get them(Do not blame him, his rep is at stake).
If you know you care about what I mentioned above, then you need a tested hand. The Adedayos, Adesola, Blaise, and co. The list of very skilled Nigerian satellite installers are many but I can only mention a few names of the ones I know
Who can help me do the Satellite Dish Installation in Lagos and its environs?
Conclusively, I am ratifying one man in Lagos for now. The reason is doing this is because he is the one credited with coming up with the installation in this article. He simply is known as Adedayo, his email is [email protected] and his hotline is 08033549406.
You can call him and make an appointment with him to help you with your installations. He is good with a small dish and big dish installations.
Furthermore, he knows how to handle Cband installations as well. He is reasonably priced. He will also help you get all the necessary accessories needed to install the dish. Finally, I need to make this very clear “Contact him for your dish installations and quote Lemmy morgan. Please do not quote me if you are contacting him on anything outside dish installations” Worthy of note, he can do installation outside of Lagos if you are ready to pay his bills. It all comes down to negotiation.

Good pm sir, please is there a way to track nigcomsat with 1.8 meter dish
@Nibolsat: You can even track it with a 90cm dish. A 1.8meter dish is more than enough a dish to track Nigcomsat with. Just make sure the signal is online at the time you are tracking it.
It is said that TV3 Ghana shows live matches but i have not seen any match live since I landed on Astra 28.2E last month. I was thinking it will show some premier league. therefore I want to change to 16E/Eutelsat 16a. Is it better than astra?
@ignace: I don’t think there are live matches on EUTELSAT 16E as well.
Please create a post on how to “easily” track nigcomsat… I learnt that one should track dst* first then move down slowly, don’t really understand. Please make a post on it, thanks.
@Kingx best: i have post on this already http://www.lemmymorgan.com/get-more-30-totally-free-to-air-channels-on-nigcomsat-nigeria/. The greatest challenges facing nigcomsat tracking is the instability of the satellite itself

Does anyone know Powervu keys for Sport24 HD @57E? The frequency has been changed, anyone with dish already in that position and who has an autoroll decoder can inform the house.
@Ignace: Powervu on sports24 hd is not accesbible for now.
Hello team,
Did you know Premier League and Laliga and Serie A TIM are totally unscrambled on Eutelsat 10E on channel called CIS TV (TP 3679V1080) CBAND with dielectric plate inside LNB.
You will also enjoy other east african TVs like Kenyan and ugandan channels for free, as well as start times packages.
Please install and enjoy.
Ignace, what is the dish size to track it?
From 6ft and above
Abuja residents can contact 08064662957 for all kinds of satellite installations and technical supports.

Whats d lnb position
@edozie: its horizontal
I went to your contact and she gave me Leon oil instead of samsu…why?
@biko: Leon is the same as original samsu oil. Same content, same uses and same efficacy
And surprisingly it was half the bottle. is it because it was bottled in Nigeria. moreover,it doesn’t come near samsu oil. #fact
@biko: you are on your own sir. you did not buy this from me or my agent. As of today, I only sell samsu oil in Nigeria and leon oil in Ghana through my agent. Am afraid I cannot help you with items you purchased from sources not known to me.
where do you think I am? I’m in Ghana and your woman agent at obojo sold it to me personally on Friday August 4.
@Biko: I do not have any agent in Obojo. You got it all wrong and you are intentionally trying to bring me into a case that has nothing to do with me. If you indeed bought it from my agent. Please send your name and mobile number to my email. You will not come hear and make false claims if you indeed bought it from my agent. Am sorry you got a fake product from another source. I have only one agent in Ghana and to get to her you must come through me. I did not put her details publicly anywhere online. So please stop this false claim sir
05411302**……….confirm this number now.
@Biko: If you buy from my agent, you must have gotten the number from me via my email. And if indeed you buy from my agent, you must have known that the leon oil in stock with my agents has no single difference from samsu oil(Apart from the change of name). There are only two possibilities here:
1. you did not buy it from my agent.
2. You have not used it (If by chance you bought it from my agent).
I do not believe you bought it from my agent because if you did, you must have come to me via my email for complaint. I do not post people’s details online so please get your facts right.

Helo Lemmy,
I am in Rwanda, near Kigali city. I would love to know if we can track Nigcomsat here because there is nowhere on internet or on lyngsat maps that you can see the clrear footprint. I have 80cm dish and I wonder if that is possible. for now, i already have astra 28.2e with 72% signal quality.
@ignanc: if no footprint, it will be difficult or impossible to track sir.
please can u give step on how to track MBC in Ghana Accra
@Faraday: simply call your local satellite installer to help you out.
Nice one Chief!
I have been looking for full info on Nigcomsat
Thanks a lot
I have observed that few Nigerian TV channels are available in the sky space in all directions as free to air and those available don’t show football matches. Is it greed or lack of rights
@kaba Edward: no money to. Buy rights
how can i track signals with qsat decoder ?
pls sir, I couldn’t track nigcomsat 1r today been 16/8/2017 in Enugu south east nigeria. I use 90cm dstv dish size to track, are they off or am I not doing it rite?
@chibuzor mochu: if you do everything right and you are not using qsat with a disecq switch to track, then it means they are off.
