REQUIREMENTS TO USING DQCAM ON QSAT
Unfortunately, the model of qsat that can load and use dqcam are limited. I have only confirmed the following models as the once that currently supports dqcam
- Qsat q11g, qsat q13g and q16
- Before you can be sure that your model is supported, you need to check the following path on your qsat “menu>>setting>>xcam setup>>Dqcam.
- If you have any of the above qsat models and you cannot find dqcam menu on your decoder, it means you may have to downgrade your qsat temporarily in other to enable dqcam menu: Link 1 avatarcam software, link 2 avatarcam software, and link 3 avatarcam software.
- You must also Have a big minimum of 3meter(note: DStv dish size is 90cm which is far below 3meter) iN SOME AFRICAN COUNTRIES LIK UGANDA, NO MATTER THE DISH SIZE, I HAVE BEEN TOLD YOU CAN NEVER GET HOTBIRD CHANNELS
- SCAN Hotbird frequency using the following frequencies:10719 V 27500-5/6, 10723 H 29900-3/4, 10758 V 27500-3/4, 10775 H.
Qsat Software that fixes Audio & Lag Problems
Currently the latest qsat software has at least three bugs: 1. it can take off the audio of your decoder, it makes your channels to lag I mean they move in slow motion kind or and 3. it causes your qsat to keep displaying “connect to server” and “your account expires…” interchangeably. Now there has been a solution to fix this message. Qsat team has released new software for speed hd s1 that will enable you to switch on/off the spycam account on your speed hd s1 pending the time speed hd starts working. Immediately you switch the active account of canalasat on your speed HD s1 off, it will automatically stop connecting to server hence it will stop displaying the annoying and constant “welcoming to server”

Guys are SS channels working on Qsat?
I have upgraded, downgraded, subscribed for data, used a modem, used the GPRS, switched to AMC, left it in sharing, gone round everything. still showing connect to server and expiring date, till now no pictures, I have gone round the process over and over again. it doesn’t just work. I feel there are specific decoders that work and not all are lucky to get theirs work, meanwhile our own expiring date just dey go. short cut done dey become long route eventually.
Put it on blitz and make sure you are using browsing airtel

@rich,downgrading only helps correct audio problem. Try different sim cards and some times switched on/off for several time if lucky it will welcome u to e server

@Ibrahim and @George thanks for the info. Guys having connect to the server problem should use a modem with airtel in it. MTN won’t help solve the problem at all. Remember to leave the decoder on blitz while try the tricks. I refer to Nigeria cos MTN may be working well for guys in other countries. Good luck

@Akins canal plus is stable but dstv not stable but bliz is very stable. lets hope it gets better. only canal sports 4 n 3 do go off mostly in the evening around 8pm onwarda.

with new software i only have problem on only channels which is ghone and tv3….tv3 goes off and my ghone has some problem with the audio but i manage to get a solution on that but yet still my tv3 is loss..so i have to downgrade it to get everything right both the tv3 and ghone are working nice with some dstv channels are also working

i even downgraded my QSAT 28 G to V7 because i was having some problem with my ghone and tv3 on my multi tv in Ghana.. but yet still the decoder is working with that software and also welcomes to server and also view some channel but is not that stable like ss3,blitz etc..but i think the HAUSA channel is that stable …u guys can try it and see …bcos the new sw as affect some of my multi tv channels and the picture quality is not that clear but when i downgraded it everything is normal now i think but is just that the channels are not that very stable….when will qsat be back fully ….??? Dstv on Qsat is not stable at all. It doesn’t even shows for more than 2minutes and canal+ also freezes when there is live football matches. Qsat are not trying at all.
@ all my qsat 28g manage to show despite not welcoming to server! though am only interested in SS3,3,blitz (which worked yester night). I use it to watch europa league. i just leave it on blitz despite not welcoming to server and later it started showing.

@Ibrahim thanks for the response. I advise everyone to use 3g modem in their decoder. I use 3g modem and I don’t struggle to welcome to server. Probably it might have worked for Ibrahim’s friend if he had used 3g modem meaning that there might have been no need for Ibrahim to downgrade to v7.09.

Akin i upgraded with latest q23 sw v8.1.23 powervu u sent me. after which it came cnnect to server then conect fail n nerver worked. prior to the ucl game my friend call me that it was still not welcoming to server. so i went n downgraded it to the old software v7 given to me by one friend. after the downgrading i inserted a 3g modem n in less than 3 minutes it welcome to server 124 days remaing. i watched the first half of man c vrs psg with him self

version “1512Combo_Q28G_MA_M_V8.04.88.000_20160328” works for me though it doesn’t welcome to server but it works for me. it will display connect to server severally before it start displaying images. patient is key!

I have done every thing those with working q23g have said they did yet mine won’t come on. only showing connect to server and displays when my account will expire. yet no images. I almost lost my qsat yesterday because of power failure during upgrading. those of us with non working Q-SAT, let us just keep our fingers crossed

For newbies try and be more elaborate on your challenges cos akin is always ready to lend a helping hand. It’s sweet when everybody is enjoying their Qsat. Those that said Qsat has died when it was not working should have a rethink. Who is talking about sports24 now. Please Mr. Lemmy a word or two from you here would do a lot help. Correct me if i am wrong that it seems to me that not all the Q-sat servers are operational which is causing a good number accounts to be working and others not working. I personally don’t think that it’s about luck or about any kind of tricks. How can one browse the internet if the ISP is down or not operational. It’s logic reasoning am using here and not facts please i stand to be corrected. Thanks for the opportunity!!!
House, qsat issue is very worrisome cos I don’t really get it. If it is the model problem or account problem. Having an active account with the new software released by Mr Morgan, yet some complains that their decoder is not connecting the saver. Cos after I used the software for my q13+ from the monday, the problem is still the same. Always what am experiencing is connect to the saver… Please I will be happy when this issue is clarify. Pls guys am kinda new in this upgrading stuff. I downloaded q11g software on my phone and copied the zip file into my flash but I can’t seem do use it on my decoder cos it says NO MATCH FOUND or UNABLE TO OPEN FILE. HOW DO I GET THE .BIN Bla bla bla. Email is oku.emeka@yahoo.com.
@emeka: the software is supposed to be .bin not .zip. you need to extract the .zip with winrar then use a flash drive for the upgrade.

I am just saying that, if someone says his qsat is not connecting to server he is trying to say that he can’t view channels and remember sometimes after geting connected to server message u dont even receive the welcome to server message on the screen but u view channels alright. Hope u get my point.

Pstkay try starting and restarting your decoder with airtel sim leaving it on supersport blitz. Let’s see how it goes. Good luck

@pstkay yeah mine is working perfectly except for the important stations like ss1, ss2, ss3, ss3NI etc that are missing. As for the sw version, I don’t think that is the problem yours is not welcoming to server (my opinion though) cos I initially upgraded to version 8.03, it worked fine but when I noticed the missing stations, I had to downgrade to V.8.01.23. Both softwares worked for me. As regards blind scan, I’ve done that severally to no avail. Please kindly help me with the manual frequencies. Thanks.

@lawbohe, the keys remain the same. just check the freq., symbol rate, polarisation, and the sid write them somewhere and re-input them.
@akin I downloaded and install the Q13g software that was uploaded in the previous post it didn’t give me any noise or volume problem that it gave to others my decoder seems fine but still I still get the connect to server message and my expiring date yet no image if I can’t get your number through my email I will appreciate it a lot.

@ all, my qsat 28g doesn’t welcome to server but still manage display images. I used it in watching barcelona match yester night. i use the SW version “1512Combo_Q28G_MA_M_V8.04.88.000_20160328” though i power off and on several times b4 images comes up.
@Akin,that is true but that tells us how low the Chinese are, when it comes to English language. Connected to server and welcome to server is the same thing, therefore they shouldn’t have combined all the two.secondly, when it comes to viewing channels,qsat has never been like this bcos at first if 4 example code 62 connects, anybody on code 62 account will also connect without stress but now people with code 62 account can connect to server and view channels whiles others can not with same code 62 account.Africans let us be real to each other always.
Guys, please note the difference between connect to the server and welcome to server. If it says welcome to server, you should be shouting Hallelujah cos you will be able to view channels. If it’s connect to the server, then you should intensify your prayers cos the problem just began. Good luck
Guys, there’s no harm in trying some of the tricks suggested cos it has worked for a lot of guys that had connect to the server problem. It was the trick that made mine to start welcoming to server too. The fact that it has not worked for some, doesn’t mean that it won’t work for you.

@Felix , your message is not elaborate enough. You didn’t tell me your qsat model and also if the one you uploaded is welcoming to server or not. You only need the other software if your first software is working but with audio problem

It means yours is still having connect to the server problem. Check the previous post for some tricks. it may work for you. If it doesn’t work for you, it seems that your code is offline

I will still remind everybody that, it is still luck that connects u to qsat server and not tricks bcos of their 60% to 40%strategy and that is why if u use any trick to connect, that same trick does not work the next minute.no body connects to qsat server easily now bcos of this strategy they are using. Luck is key in this situation.The evidence is clear.

Good morning my friends. I think the secret in welcoming to server is to first upgrade with the latest software that has audio issues. If you are fortunate enough, it will welcome you to server and then you can start viewing descrambled channels. To solve the audio problem, downgrade with the one that Mr. Lemmy uploaded recently and it will be welcoming to server. If you try all the suggestions after upgrading to the buggy software and yours does not welcome, it may be that your code is off. Just keep trying cos one day it may come online. I just upgraded my v7.09 this morning with Mr. Lemmy’s uploaded software for q13g and my decoder is still welcoming to server. Only that the main SS channels were offline before I left home this morning. One love

MR.Lemmy after upgrading the new SW my is working but the ss channels are not stable at all and it seems the SW has affected my multi tv channels which is ghone the picture moves slowly as well as the audio and my tv3 is off ,,but when i downgrade it .it comes normal and i cant enjoy my qsat if is not having the latest SW ..So i have to bring it back to the new SW but i will lose my tv3 on multi tv and ghone can u pls help me out ..and is any member here facing the same problem …am in GHANA.
Larry, if u do blindscan u will lose tv3 and for the ghone, put it there for about 1 minute and the audio and picture problems will be corrected.

@Akin, don’t you know that using defferent SW for defferent decoder may cause your decoder to be soft/hard brick? Lemmy please, there are important issues that need clarification but you kept quit about it and allow some guys to control this blog. @pstkay. Use the one with audio problem. If it welcomes to server, downgrade it to v7.09 the audio problem will be solved. That was exactly what I did. Mine is working without problem. Good luck

Some of you ask to many questions especially unreasonable ones. Mr. Lemmy uploaded the different softwares. All you need to do is to just download the one that is useful to you. One thing you people don’t even realise is that if I like I can load q11g software on my q13g decoder and nothing will really happen than for me to setup my decoder from the scratch. My decoder will now start displaying q11g instead of my normal q13g. I’ve tried it before and I viewed my channels as normal
Everyone likes qsat now because it is working. Later some of you will begin to curse qsat team and the account. guys learn to always remember good times so that in bad times you will be grateful and patient

Yes Donaldson i have seen that but i believe it is also for powervu and that is why they named it that way. It is just the naming I believe.
