To be talking about if azsky is working or not, is to be saying things in retrospect. What am here to discuss is how to workaround / troubleshoot an azsky dongle or a receiver that has been successfully renewed and yet not decrypting the necessary dst* channels. What I simply mean is that, if after you successfully loaded a new account into your azsky dongle, it refuses to decrypt any channel, then this guide will surely help you.
IMPORTANT PREREQUISITE PRIOR TO TROUBLE SHOOTING
- You must have successfully loaded a service account on your azsky dongle or receiver by following the instructions here
- You must be having at least two internet enabled sim cards with a mobile data
- You must not be using a defective dongle with e.g a broken sim slot
- You must be close to someone who you can ask from if azsky is online or offline as at the time you are troubleshooting.
HOW TO REVIVE YOUR AZSKY DONGLE WHEN IT FAILED TO WORK AFTER RECHARGING
Azsky products comprises gprs dongles like G1, G1+, G1 Super and Receivers with Gprs dongle capabilities like azsky G6 and Azsky G2. I will categorize this into two, troubleshooting azsky dongles with an external decoders and troubleshooting azsky receiver with inbuilt dongle.
HOW TO KNOW IF YOUR DONGLE WILL WORK AFTER RECHARGING
After recharging, you can pre-determine if your dongle will work for sure after recharging.
- Once you have recharged successfully, insert a sim card with a mobile data bundle and watch your dongle blinks. It will blink to a point where the blinking red will change to green and then orange. Once this happens, then your dongle is bound to work using my tips below.
- However, if in your own case, after recharging, instead of your dongle blinking green or orange, it keeps blinking red till eternity, it means there is trouble which may include; i. azsky server is not logging you in(in which case azsky will fix this automatically or through your dealer, ii. your sim card is not having any data bundle or airtime or your sim card is not internet enabled, ii. The sim slot on your dongle is damaged or your dongle has internal hardware problems, iv. maybe after successfully using recharge tool, you have mistakenly used flashtool(In this case, you must load another account)
HOW TO TROUBLESHOOT AZSKY G2 and G6 THAT FAILED TO DECRYPT CHANNELS AFTER RECHARGING
As for G2, there is little troubleshooting you need to do. Simply make sure you follow my guide here to set up your g2. Also make sure you G2 switch is set to “TWIN” Finally, make sure make sure you have switch sim card.
As for Azsky G6, Make sure your switcher is also set to “TWIN”, Also make sure you use Autoscan with eutelsat 36.0E as against blinscan. To be able to setup and scan azsky G6 decoder, please read this.
Troubleshooting Strong and other Decoders with Azsky Dongles
First thing first, this does not apply to fake strong decoders. If you connect your azsky dongles to strong decoders, make sure you enable dongle option on strong decoder by following my guide here. However if you discover that your dongle option is missing, you can download a patch software for your strong decoder that will restore your dongle option as long as your strong is original. I have uploaded dongle software on this site for strong 4920, 4922 4922a and 4669 please use the search box to navigate to the article.
However, once you discover that you have enabled dongle option in strong, your sim is article , and your azsky dongle is blinking green and orange yet you can’t watch any dst* channel, it is time for you to look into the satellite name and scanning methods on your strong decoder. Do a factory reset of your strong decoder, after setting up and re-enabling the dongle option, make sure you autoscan using the satellite name EUTELSAT 36.0E ONLY. Please don’t use blindscan. then your dongle will surely decrypt channels on your strong decoder. If after doing the above you still can’t watch, test your dongle with another strong decoder and you will see that it will work. This mean you have to do something beyond my current comprehension about your defective strong decoder. However my tip above will solve 99% of strong decoders not working with azsky issues.
As for qsat, tlink and and similar decoders that supports a dongle, simply ensure that you have the latest software installed on such decoders. There are latest available software for tlink and qsat on www.lemmymorgan.com. After that, apply the scanning method recommended by me for strong.

My azsky freezes like hell. One minute on and three mins freeze and so on. Can’t enjoy any program. Tried all sims even with data same thing.

my Oga thanks for your info, since qsat came back mine with 46****** code has being working fine my question is while is it that even some 46***** are not working.
I can’t open any dst* channels since av upgrades my g6 decoder. I know it connect to azsky server cos it blinks orange light while the other light shows green. I av restored the factory setting but to no avail.i will try scanning the stations using euthelsat 36degree if it will work when I get home. Thanks
