Yayi TV is a satellite tv company that shares more of a resemblance with CTL & Metro than TStv. I am saying YaYi tv is closer to CTL because just like CTL, Yayi TV will also need to combat satellite tv anti-piracy agency. They will need to make some explanations about where they get some of the rights they have from. Such rights include football rights across major European leagues. Yayi broadcast EPL, FA, Carabao, UEFA, and other matches from other leagues. In today’s post, I shall be discussing Yayi TV frequency and channels as well as every other thing you need to know about it.

Latest Update n Yayi TV as of August 2020:

Yayi TV is now on H265

Yayi tv transponder/video codec has been upgraded from H.264 to H.265. The good news is that you can watch all yayi channels free of charge at the moment if you have any sophisticated decoder that has H.265 channels decrypting capabilities. The frequency remains unchanged

About Yayi TV

The owner of yayi is not known. However, it is certain that they are not Nigerians. I don’t think they are even Africans. Yayi TV promised to start selling their decoder before the channels scrambled and they have made good their promise. The channels were encrypted 3 days ago and they have released the decoders to their accredited dealers in west Africa.

Just like CTL, Yayi got their signals from some beIN Sports channels. From all indications, i don’t think this is legal. However, that is not mine to debate all I want is for my readers who are willing to enjoy while it lasts. Due to their signal source, yayi tv one and yayi tv 2 broadcast live EPL, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Cup, European Qualifier, Serie A e.t.c. You can also get it on ABS At 3W.

Why is YAYI TV Channels Scrambled/Encrypted?

Basically, the channels were encrypted because the providers have produced and launched their own decoders. as we speak, yayi tv channels are no longer free to air. you need to buy their decoder to continue to watch the channels.

Basic Features of the Decoder

The yayi decoder is not a super branded one. Instead, they adopt the customizable approach. In other words, you can use your yayi TV decoder for FTA and iks purposes.

In addition, the following features are available on the yayi decoder:

  • Movies subtitled in English
  • The decoder is IKS ready
  • You can watch hidden multistream channels such as the one on militia position on it. This is possible because the decode is coded in HEVC H265. This multistream decoder will open free of charge on yayi decoder.

 

Yayi TV Frequency and Channels Available on the Decoder

Basically, Yayi decoders have four dedicated sports channels and two other channels to make it a total of 6. They promise to add more channels as the time flies by. Meanwhile, below are the current channels list available on Yayi official decoder:

However, you can get other channels with the decoder by adding another dish. Multitv hidden channels are a very welcome development. Also, you can track TStv in the same position as YAyi. Can we say Yayi TV is Legal?

Unsurprisingly, Yayi TV may not be a legal broadcasting organization as nobody knows their source or head-quarters or the country which Yayi TV comes from. Some people say they are Indians, others say they are Arabs. Let’s just say they are similar to beOUT or CTL. Therefore, you can expect anything to happen to them in the nearest future.

Where Can I buy  Yayi TV Decoder?

First off, you can visit their official website and look up the agent nearest to you. As you can see from the picture above, yayi decoder is now available in the market. According to reliable sources, it is already in Nigeria and other West African countries, to begin with.

Sadly, you can’t get it directly from me. However, you can get it from other satellite TV installers or dealers. I am also sure that some sellers will soon drop their contacts in the comment box

How to Subscription to Yayi TV

Yayi tv subscription method is not yet known to anyone for now. It is rumored that the decoder comes with at least a 3-month inbuilt subscription. Hence, let us first enjoy that before we think about how to renew. I am sure the producer would do justice to the renewal method in due course.

Prices of Yayi TV Subscription

  • 3 months subscription would cost $40 which is around #7500 if you convert it to Nigerian currency.

 

How Much Does Yayi TV Decoder Cost?

From the information gathered from my colleagues, no one is selling the decoder lesser than #15,000 in Nigeria. You can contact your local dealer. Like I said, please don’t contact me on this because I can’t sell it until I am certain of where they stand with respect to “broadcast piracy”

However, a few days ago, the price was slashed to around #12000 and the decoder now comes with 1-month subscription. You can contact your local dealer for an update.

Yayi TV1 And Yayi TV2 Satellite Tracking Parameters

You can track Yayi on the same position as TStv Africa(by the way, TStv is rumoured to be back on 45e yet again)

while Yayi TV1 and Yayi TV2 are also added upon Intelsat 12/904 at 45.0°E you can hit the signal. If you love watching Indian movies then you can point your dish to Abs At 3W to get Yayi TV and e.tv Africa.

An alternative location for Yayi TV

  • Satellite Name: ABS 3A
  • Satellite Orbital Position: 3.0°W
  • Dish Requirement: 90CM and larger
  • Frequency: 11170
  • Polarization: V
  • Symbol Rate: 7500
  • Encryption: YES

However, it is not yet confirmed if abs 3 will work with their decoder.

How to Track Yayi Tv Channels on Azerspace 45ºE

  • You can start by first tracking DStv @  Eutelsat 36A. Get a very strong signal strenght in the region of 90% or above.
  • Next, manually change the Satellite to AzerSpace at 45.0°E and enter the frequency 12511 H 12506(AFRICA) or 12691 H 6500 (MENA)
  • Gently lower the inclination of your dish while monitoring when the signal will come up. It is generally easier using a satfinder with an embedded compass such has hellobox smart s2.
  • Once you hit the signal, then tighten the nut on the brackaet of the dish and lock it. Now, it is time to skew your LNB for optimal signal reception.
  • Connect your dish to the receiver and manually scan or use the blind scan to get all the Channels stored on your receiver.

Multi tv KFS, GTV PLUS tracking Frequency

Below are the tracking parameters(frequency) of the special hidden channels on Joy TV/Multi TV position:

  • Dish Size: Minimum of 60CM 90cm recommended
  • Satellite name:  ASTRA 2F @ 28.2° EAST
  • Frequency: 12645
  • Polarity: V
  • Symbol Rate: 30000

    Lemmy,the guy who wanted to split yayi to other rooms should contact my number(0240468261-Kumasi)so that l will teach him the simplest way to do it…l have been doing that with dstv decoders n they are working.

    U will not buy any splitter but other alternative that most installers don’t know…..

      @demola: no you won’t get one. Even if you do, you won’t be able loop to rooms because it’s like stealing from a thieve. Yayi is stealing contents and you want to also steal from yayi. They won’t allow that for free same way pay-TV doesn’t allow sharing of their signal free of charge
