Unlike Yayi which is all about sports majorly, OurTv offers completely Free-To-Air channels. Their slogan reads: “Why would you keep paying for a TV subscription when you can get premium content on OurTv for free?
About OurTv
OurTv is a direct broadcast satellite service hosted n the same position as Nigcomsat 1R. Fortunately, it has a footprint everywhere in Nigeria.
Furthermore, the decoder is cheap compared to the Yayi TV decoder. It is also a hybrid decoder which means you can use it for IPTV, especially youtube video streaming. In addition to this, you can use ourtv decoder to scan and watch other free-to-air channels.
As per the network connectivity, it accepts 3G and 4G dongles and USB Wifi for internet access. Need I say that OurTv is a one-time payment platform, with no monthly subscription after buying?
Of all their programs, only their video-on-demand (IPTV solution) is paid. Apart from this, all their satellite tv channels are free to view after buying the decoder.
Sadly, OurTv just like YaYi Tv is not operating officially yet. I mean, no one knows the source and they have no offices from my research. As a result of this, I cannot personally sell it to anyone. Luckily for interested buyers, they have distributors almost everywhere in Nigeria.

Does Ourtv Broadcast Live Sports Events?
Just recently, ourTV started showing live matches. They practically showed the Carabao Cup match between Liverpool and Arsenal on Thursday 1st of October, 2020. I am not so sure they have the right to broadcast Carabao although they have some rights to broadcast certain EFL league matches. It is either way, for now, you can watch the Carabao Cup on ourtv at the very least. Below is a quote from the Management of OurTV on the 6th of October, 2020.
