Apple yet again smashes the hope of her followers who are eager to get the OLED screen on every iPhone that would be produced after the iPhone X. According to the Wall Street Journal, Apple’s large-scale transformation from LCD to OLED has been postponed to a later date. According to Apple’s engineers, OLED and LCD have no obvious advantages compared to LCD. They really don’t understand what Apple is going to do about the change. The issue of the OLED display is also the reason why iPhone x is expensive.
Why iPhone x is expensive!!
Further news has it that Apple’s all equipment transition to OLED may be delayed until 2020. Although the current iPhone’s overall sales remained stable, Apple is not fully satisfied with the sales of iPhone X. Analysts predict that the reason why the price of iPhone X is so high is that the iPhone X’s panel was provided by Samsung. Samsung’s OLED 5.8-inch panel offered to Apple iPhone X was priced at around US$100. The best The LCD panel had ever cost is $40.
If all iPhones are equipped with OLED screens, Apple’s mobile phones may be more expensive than they are now. Given such high panel prices, Apple can only choose to let multiple orderers reduce panel prices or manufacture their own panels.
