Gionee is among such phones that are almost equal to the brand name phones.  Before we proceed with Gionee M6 official firmware, let’s a quick run through the basic features of the Gionee M6.

Gionee M6 comes with a 5,000 mAh battery which is guaranteed to last for a very long time. Other internal specifications include a 1.8GHz octa-core Helio P10 processor.It also has a 4GB of RAM. With all that said, this device runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.

If you are one of those who owns this smartphone and is patiently waiting for an update then you are not alone. However, if you wish to run the latest software on this smartphone, then you only option to flash a custom ROM. This tutorial is all about flashing the latest available firmware into your m6. The latest available android software is, of course, v7 Nougat. PRE-REQUISITE

Gionee M6 Official Firmware v7(Nougat) Upgrade Processes and Steps

Step-by-Step guidelines to Gionee M6 custom Rom or flash Stock ROM using Update SP FlashTool on your Windows xp/7/8/10 Computer/Laptop.

Step 1: Download Latest version SP Flash Tool and Download Gionee M6 device USB Driver.

Step 2: Install Gionee M6 Android device USB Driver on your computer/Laptop.

Step 3: Your Gionee M6 Smartphone Power Off ( if it is removable Battery -> remove the phone Battery).

Step 4: Gionee M6 Firmware or StockROMm Download that you want to Flash on your Gionee M6 Smartphone. and extract it on your PC Computer.

Step 5: Extract Gionee M6 Firmware flash file or Stock Rom zip file

Step 6: After, Open the Flash_tool.exe files (in SP_Flash_Tool folder).

Step 7: Once SP Flash Tool is launched, Click on the Download Tab.

Step 8: After that, now click on the scatter-loading button.

Step 9: You will find and select the scatter file in the Gionee M6 Firmware folder.

Step 10: After, Click on the Download Button to begin the Gionee M6 device Flashing Process.

Step 11: next, Connect your Gionee M6 phone (without battery- if it is removable) to the Computer or Laptop using OG USBCable. After connecting the Gionee M6 phone to the computer.

Step 12: Press Gionee M6 Smartphone Volume Down or Volume Up key, so that your computer easily detects your Gionee M6 device.
