Relevant info required to get you started as a new user on liberty decoder and/or t.link decoder shall be provided here. How to Connect T.LINK 600 HD Decoder to Watch Satellite TV Basically, it depends on the number of dishes you have but you are to connect the LNB cable of your desired satellite to the LNB input at the back of your decoder and let it be in "Tunner 1". Next, make sure you have scanned the channels. Now, you need to set your dish settings inside the antenna settings of the decoder. To do this navigate to Menu>>Antenna>>tuner A or B then watch the status bar at the bottom of the decoder to see if the signal strength and quality are okay. And if you are combining your dish with the help of a DiSEqC switch, make sure you change it here as well. Lastly, exit and press F1 111 on your remote this will take you to some options make sure you choose the "enable internet" then exit. Next, goto MENU>>EXPANSION>>IP SETTINGS>>TEST IP then test your IP and make sure it says ready to be used with the internet then exit. Finally, press F1 666 on your remote and this will take you to server settings (by now you must have plugged in your internet modem) then check the numbers of connected servers if in front of connected servers you find zero 0 then wait until it starts reading and I will advise you to wait until it reads to 20+ connected servers before you exit. This is because at 20 or more Connected servers, all your channels will open but anything less, some channels may open and some may not. For example, i use a tp-link router (but I recommend Vodafone or Huawei router because it can also work with 2g tp-link doesn't work with edge/2g network). Now, to setup tp-link you need to first connect the router to your pc via the LAN cable provided with it then type the following ip into your computer web browser http://192.168.1.1 then you will see the settings menu. Just navigate your way to advance>>Network>>3g then set your accesspoint there and make sure you choose 3g only for the network settings. Save and exit now you can connect your usb modem to the router then connect the other end of the lan cable to the lan port of your decoder. You can see the front and back view of t.link decoder from the picture above. after doing the settings on your router simply follow my instruction on t.link 600 to setup the internet protocol on your t.link 900. HOW TO ENABLE THE DONGLE/SDS MODE ON T.LINK 900 HD DECODER Another advantage of t.link 900 HD decoder is that it has an inbuilt dongle account which is also called SDS MODE. SDS mode on t.link 900 HD Decoder is equivalent to dongle accounts so if you have been using one dongle or another like avatar, hawk e.t.c then you won't have any problem to use this mode. To activate SDS mode, connect your LNB cable from your server dish e.g, W3A e, 14e, to tuner 2 at the back of your decoder then connect that of the satellite you wish to watch e.g hotbird to use to tuner 1 that is at the back of the decoder and you are done. What you will do next is to press F1 111 on your remote then from the resulting options select SDS MODE >> Eutelsat w3 africa or equivalent after this exit then goto your channels list and look out for those channels that are highlighted in yellow. Mind you it is only those scramble channels that are highlighted in yellow that will show.
