I am doing a general speed comparative test of S10+ vs Xs Max vs Mate20Pro. As we already know, Samsung, Apple and Huawei are the three largest mobile phone giants in the world. This ranking is not only measured by the sales, but the three major manufacturers are also the most technically strong. Also, they all have independent research and development SoC. This helps them to and provide the world’s most high-end smartphones. So, what is the performance of their top-end mobile phones? Let’s take a look at the comprehensive comparison of Samsung Galaxy S10+, Apple iPhone XS Max and Huawei Mate20 Pro.
S10+ vs Xs Max vs Mate20Pro: CPU, Ram & Screen Resolution Comparison
First, take a look at the configuration. All three mobile phones are equipped with independent chips. So this comparison is based on the Samsung S10+ Orion 9820 version, not the Snapdragon 855 version.
Among them, Apple Max has the smallest ram storage, Samsung S10+ is the largest, Huawei Mate20 Pro is based on the entry version of 6GB. The screen resolution is the highest in Apple Xs Max, the second is Huawei and the lowest in Samsung.
On close observation, the difference in boot speed between the three flagship phones is actually not large. Actually, it is in the millisecond range. The fastest is Samsung S10+, which takes only 20.12 seconds, iPhone XS Max takes 20.2 seconds, and Huawei Mate20 Pro is third.
Now, let’s do the Unlock speed comparison test. In terms of hybrid unlocking, Huawei Mate20 Pro supports both screen fingerprinting and 3D facial recognition. Therefore, it has two test results.
In fact, its 3D face unlocking speed is faster than Apple’s face ID, only 12.45 seconds. However, its optical screen fingerprint speed is not as good as the Samsung S10+ ultrasonic fingerprint.
In terms of running points, we divide this into two projects: Antutu and Geekbench. In the Antutu test, Samsung S10+ is first, iPhone XS Max ranked second with a small disadvantage, due to the high performance of the CPU part of the Orion SoC. In terms of storage speed, the Samsung S10 series is equipped with UFS3.0 flash memory, which is undoubtedly fast. After all, its specifications are the highest. However, both the iPhone XS Max and the Huawei Mate 20 Pro use UFS 2.1 standard flash. But the latter is slightly slower and puzzling.
And now we have the download speed test within the same network environment. Although Samsung S10+ and Huawei Mate20 Pro support LTE 4G+ network, flash memory speed is also the key to download speed, so Huawei Mate20 Pro is the slowest.
Application open speed. The final test is that of application & game loading speed. Huawei Mate20 Pro comes with the best optimization for app loading hence, it is the fastest in loading app. the iPhone XS Max is second, while, Samsung S10+ is the last.
Conclusively, it can be seen that although the Huawei Mate20 Pro’s Kirin 980 is the lowest performance of the three phones, it is not without its advantages. In addition, Mate20 Pro has the lowest price and the strongest photo in the three mobile phones.
