Good day, my wonderful people and welcome to yet another update on satellite TV. Unfortunately, this is not a very good news for the sports lover, especially football. I will be talking about MTN Worldwide sports24 HD status. However, attention would be more on what the immediate future holds rather than what is happening.
MTN [Sport24 etc] (NSS @ 57°E & 20°W)” update
It is no longer news that MTN Worldwide packages went off on the 7th of February 2018. Also, it is becoming boring to know that this happened on OSCAM for only decoders yet again. It may or may not interest you to know that POwerVuEmu 2.91 that was developed several months ago is what is currently in use for Sports 24 HD MTN Worldwide packages. However, this works only on DVB Cards. You can learn more about DVB cards here.
Tigerstar group hurriedly rolled out auto-roll decoders for certain models. Unfortunately, it failed to open MTN sports 24. Similarly, alphabox group followed suit by releasing a new software which also failed to achieve its purpose. The latest group to attempt to re-open MTN(sports24) is strong middle east Africa and this has also failed.
MTN Worldwide sports24 HD status – cause to worry
The distant future is bleak for decoders opening sports24 HD unofficially. Information reaching me from a reliable but unconfirmed source states that they might be changing their encryption to VideoGuard pretty soon. It is something for us to look out for if they decide to change there encryption. This will be done if decoders managed to get a working PowerVu auto-roll software. Watching sports24 HD on PC via DVB cards is not much of a threat when compared with watching it on the numerous powervu decoders that we have out there. I pray they don’t change encryption method soon. If they do, it means only an IKS account might be able to open it. In actual fact, we all know how easy it is for satellite providers to block IKS servers.
When will MTN(Sports24 HD) be back?
Just have it in mind that as long as the emulator used for the exploit continues to work, STBs manufacturers will stop at nothing to revive their devices. I see a solution this week or the following week. However, on the more diffcult side, a new Emulator ma be required before recivers can make a headway. Now it all boils down to the exploits developers’s r=williningness to develop another explout while the existing one is still working. In the meantime, turn to FTA, Big dish iks solution or the undying IPTV Tech.
