I believe what is currently trending with regards to all sports lovers is the UEFA champions league that will kick off on the 18th of September, 2018. lemmy morgan september 2018 is here and it promises to be an eye-opener as always. There shall be a small twist in the way our daily updates are delivered starting today. I would divide this into two major segments. The first would be the “What is new in the satellite and IPTV world” while the second segment would focus on the old but still working solutions in Satellite TV. The 3rd segment will be dedicated to other matters of interest like data bundles. Now let set the ball rolling without further fuss.

Which TV companies would be broadcasting UEFA matches live?

Provided herein is a list of television broadcasters which provide coverage of the UEFA Champions League, European football’s top level continental competition, as well as the UEFA Super Cup. Starting from 2018–19 season, during the group stage, two matches will kick off at 18:55 CET and the rest of the matches, including the knockout phase will kick-off at 21:00 CET.
The table below will give you an overview of the channels that would be broadcasting the matches live worldwide. Not their names as it would be needed in the course of this write-up

This platform came out of the blues. I admit that it has a unique and workable concept. However, the service itself is plagued with poor execution and piracy concerns from the get-go. Even when it was working, it wasn’t stable. I guess they have a lot of work to do.

TStv is back and now broadcasting on Nigcomsat 42.5 E position

It is no longer news that TStv is currently staging a come back on a different satellite position. In addition, the new satellite position of their choosing is  NigComSat 1R at 42.5°E. Just use any of the following frequencies to track: 12589 H 30001, 12589 H 25000. Alternatively, when you have tracked Nigcomsat channels and I have gotten a high enough signal quality, simply blind-scan your decoder to receive TStv channel on Nigcomsat position.

TStv Africa wishes to inform the general public that it has successfully signed a contractual agreement with the following organizations:
i. Fox Network Group, the Netherlands for Fox Sports 1, Fox Sports 2, Fox Movies, Fox News and Fox Life Channels.
ii. National Geographic Company Europe Limited for National Geographic and Nat Geo Wild Channels.
iii. Aljazeera Media Network for HD Aljazeera News Channel.

Official decoders used outside their areas of operations

Apparently, qsat cobox and q19g are no longer the decoders that hold the franchise to canal 22w IKS solution. We have new players who can open 22w channels as well as q19g and cobox. Below is the list of some of the decoders that can open canal 22w via Qsat TCAM code.
  1. Qsat CoBox decoder preloaded with Tcam account
  2. Q19g receivers with builtin Tcam accounts
  3. Nusky FTA decoder
  4. 3D Tech ULTRA
  5. Onsat, onsat2 and Onsat3 decoders preloaded with TCAM account

Note: Every decoder that supports TCAM accounts can automatically open MYTV 16E, Canalsat 22w and TVsat 16e.

Status of the alternative to Sports24 HD

This package is still working with everything intact. It is capable of showing sports including football from major leagues. Actually, it has a more complete sports channels than sports24 HD. Position still remains West, the basic dish to getting it in Nigeria is still 1.8 meters dish. Moving forward, contact your local installer for the installation of this satellite.  Many existing decoders continues to open Powervu channels like AFN, Astra, Sony 68.5E and so on. Som names worthy of mentions is All Gsky series, most high-end tiger series, G-sat, starsat and so on.

If you ask me, I will say IPTV  is your go-to destination for all premium tv channels including sports. If you don’t want to miss a single UEFA or other league matches, you will need either a paid official subscription or a very stable IPTV solution. Some of the most popular IPTV solutions that are being sought after are as follows:

  • Forever service account from tiger team

    Good morning Oga Lemmy. Please I have a couple of questions burdening me Oga Lemmy.

    1. I tracked NigComSat-1R but I am not really satisfied with the performance. I used 4-way strong LNB, 90 cm dish and 4950H strong decoder. The signal is highly unstable. It is always kracking Lemmy?

    2. I could not get any of the TSTV channels?

    3. What is the IPTV all about? I need some education Oga Lemmy.

    Sorry also tp ask this but in east africa we no longer open Sony @68.5e, we only get it open @66e (HD). Does Hellobox v5 HD autoroll Sony @68.5e?

    Hello Lemmy, I have a cobox q19g that opens 16e but it has never opened 22w and I actually bought it for that particular purpose . I don’t know why it behaves so even if my signal os 100% or 85% on freesat v8 finder.
    Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks
