Whatever the case may be, the point is that your t-link is unable to boot into the main menu. Several causes can be associated with this of which the most important causes of soft-brick(software brick) on any decoder include the following: 1. power outage while updating the firmware of the decoder, 2. Loading an incompatible software into a decoder and 3. loading a damaged software into a decoder. In the course of this article, you will learn how you can revive dead Tlink HD decoders via USB or PC.
While experimenting with some software on t-link HD decoder earlier today, I fried my decoder in the process and after a little effort, I woke it up. As always, I Am ready to share with you how I went about it here.
Warning: It is pertinent to follow instructions to the last letter so that you won’t do more harm than good to your decoder. only use certified software to upgrade your decoder
General Requirements for Reviving TLink via PC:
- A computer (recommended is an old desktop computer with a 9 pin serial port).
- Uninterrupted power supply
- A rs232 cable (you can buy this anywhere or use the one that comes with g1 or avatar 2)
- Download lemmymorgan.comT300-T900_upgrade_tool
- Extract it with winrar

Requirements for reviving a dead TLink Decoder Via USB
- Get a virus-free USB
- Download the software version for your specific tlink model.
- Make sure you have stable electricity while this lasts.
Method 1: Steps to Soft-Brick Revive any TLink Decoder Via USB
- Copy your extracted .bin tlink software into a clean and empty USB flash drive
- Switch off your tlink decoder
- Insert the USB to any USB port on the decoder
- Press the “USB button” on your tlink remote
- Finally, Press the “play button” on your remote.
- Wait for the process to start, once it is completed, set up your box.
- congratulations, you have just revived your dead tlink without a PC.
Method 2: Steps to Revive A Dead Tlink Decoder via PC
1. Connect your pc and box with rs232 Cable.
2. Open ALIUP.exe pc tool (inside the package I uploaded), and select right file to update(should use upgrade file)
3. Press power key before starting the box, then it will blink “H” on the front panel of your t-link decoder
4. Press “Start” on ALIUP.exe pc tool, it will auto-download software that you have selected and try to burn to flash
5. After it finishes the upgrade, power off and power on the box.
Congratulations, your t-link decoder is now back to life

I have followed your instructions in regards to waking up my Tlink 900 HD decoder but my TLINK refused to display the H sign on the display dash board of the decoder,instead when you press power button Tlink writes “BOOT” for twenty seconds and then “ON” and then “Displays Time instead”
I connected to a desktop pc by cable “RS232″ my avatar but it does not react.I followed your procedure and I downloaded version 130 onto the down loader but still nothing. Nothing happened the decoder refuses to display the H sign on the display dash board .
Even after,i unplugged the decoder with anger and tried to start it with the remote it still remained adamant and still displays time on the dash board. I need your help,what do i do. I am loosing it an confused.Please what do in doooo.
am afraid if your decoder is not recognized by the pc, there is nothing i can do. take it to a computer hardware engineer to see if its a power problem, Am only concern with software aspect of satellite products , mobile phones and computers

you must do it with a desktop computer and download the original firmware that came with the decoder and am talking about version 130
