What advantages does strong 4950,4950e, 4950h and 4950m have over others?
Strong 4950 and newer can easily do anything the various IKS decoders out there can. Just that you need to do the extra work on your own by searching for and downloading the appropriate software. Funnily, one software practically serves all purposes as long as it is the newest. For example, if you download the powervu auto roll software for 24 HD, it will also roll AFN and sony automatically, it will maintain the card sharing(cccam) protocol and it will add IPTV protocol. I am listing all the basic non-official things that strong 4950 can do below.
- You can easily load any cccam account and use it on strong decoders. In fact, strong 4940H comes with a cccam protocol
- Currently, 3g modem and LAN work directly without any additional software. However, like others, you need a wifi adapter for a wifi connection to work with strong

CONCLUSION
Strong technologies have been able to keep things clean by not directly associating with the group that is credited with producing v the various strong software. I mean, strong simply produces the hardware and smile to the bank while some other groups develop all sorts of software for the device. I once had a very disappointig experience with a Strong that took ages just to change the channels. It seemed very poor in quality, so I decided never to buy any product from them.
So I bought an Openbox v8 on internet, which is ok but I discovered it to be counterfeit ..
What would you recommend ? I just want to watch FTA channels from six satellites usong a disec switch, and be able to edit the channel list with ease. (IP and pay-tv don’t interest me at all)

Oga Lemmy, I have 3 strong decoder 4950 and 2 4950H. I have been using RT5370 chipset to watch movie on Youtube, almost two months. Then All of a sudden I could not longer open any of the youtube videos, but I could still get thousands of youtube videos listing. I tried to open any of the videos it will come up with an error message after a very long time. Please Oga Lemmy, I know you help me with the solution of this problem?

Proudly SRT4950H user. I really enjoyed Apollo IPTV before it expired. The picture and sound quality of that receiver is superb.

Hello pls i need srt 4950 software, A technician help me to update the decoder software with a wrong model (Srt 4950H)and ever since then the decoder refuse to show signal. I’ve used 4950H, 4950M, and 4950E, none is working. Effort to download it online was also not possible. Thanks
