The decoder I am about reviewing here is manufactured by Gsky team and it is tagged V7 Hellobox. This decoder has all the features of a standard IKS/FTA / IPTV decoder but it Only auto roll countless PowerVu channels for America(specifically southern and northern America) more than 120TPs from North America and South America satellites already auto-roll well on V7. So if you are reading this from the south or north America or you have someone there whom you want to surprise with a gift. you can give this a shot. Also, if the keys change it only takes a few seconds for the V7 to open it up. All in all, I would say a great investment for any c band enthusiast in North or South America.

@John tsiotis: A lot f powervu channels(apart from sport 24 HD) are still autorolling on hellobox receivers running the latest software. As for irdeto 2, no auto roll decoder for it sir.
Oge lemmy, please I am at a cross road o which decoder to go for, I have seen the MediaStar series including mini 2727, hello box 6 and gtmedia V7pro.
I like the spec of the gtmedia v7 pro which is a combo multistream decoder
but it’s like there is no preloaded free IKS.
Kindly advice pls.
@olasunkanmi, to be honest, only you can advise yourself here. you need to buy a decoder based on what you want out of it and for how long you want to enjoy the services.

I love my Hellobox V5, however, I have a few issues I would like to solve.
1. On a few channels, my receiver will lock up when I go to those channels. In order to unlock the box, I have to unplug the power and LNB coax. Then power back up and change the channel. Then unplug power again and replace the LNB coax. Then I can power back up and it will work. It locks up on those same channels every time.
2. How do I save all my satellites, channels, and codes when I do an update? I’ve dumped that info onto a USB flash drive and tried reinstalling it after the undate. It won’t accept it. I’ve tried changing the name to hellobox.bin, but still it won’t accept it. I would like to know how to reload this info as it is quite a task to re-scan all the satellites and then get all the codes back in. There must be an easier way.
Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Isn’t there yet V8 software for Q15G?
I re-scanned the decoder with the new frequency (12525V30000) of Multi-TV all other stations came up and displayed. But TV3 did not. Even when I update its current frequency with the BISSKEY, I refused still to display.
I did the same for Q13G, Q11G but after upgrading with the V8… software you posted, TV3 worked.
So, I think it is because of absence of V8… software.
Please if you have it, kindly post it. (Upgrade software V8… for Q15G

@Uwabukeonye peace: it can only open powervu channels automatically in south and north america. But the decoder can work anywhere in the world for any other thing apart from powervu autorol

@shaca: v7 powervu auto roll works only on powervu channels in america. That of v6 works in asia, australia, africa and so on. That is the major difference between v6 and v7
