As soon as you install it, reboot your device, connect to your WiFi and launch the app (don’t start the game yet).
From the drop-down menu find “Google DNS” and tap apply. Close the app and launch Fifa 14. You should be able to log on to Origin, and you should be able to unlock/check for existing purchases successfully now.
Method 2 of changing DNS server on Android phones
If you have a newer android phone especially one with Android OS 5 and above, you can set your DNS manually by following the steps below:
- Open your android phone’s settings>>connections>>wi-Fi
- Now go to your list of Wi-FI connections and locate the currently active one as shown below:
- Next, press and hold on to the selected connection
- From the menu, choose “manage network settings”
- Click on “show advanced options”
- Under IP settings, change DHCP to Static.
- After that, change the DNS values from DNS 1- 8.8.8.8 and DNS 2- 4.4.2.2 to google DNS which is 8.8.4.4. Save your settings and restart your phone.

1. go to APP info of FIFA 14 u installed
2. tap CLEAR DATA (it will make ur game fresh). You can also reinstall the game(provided you have the backup copy with you)
3. Now start the game and try again

I’ve had the game for a while but I had put off buying the game modes. Recently I got a new smartphone and was able to download the game from Google Play, but it won’t let me unlock the rest of the game. Every time I try, it says that I’m offline, even when I’m very much not.
I take it is because EA had taken the (pretty boneheaded) decision to stop supporting the game, but if that’s the case, it should’ve been taken down from the Play Store, right? I mean, offering me a game and blocking me from its main features is a pretty stupid decision to make. Will downloading the .apk solve the problem?
