2. Choose between:

   • The text Button is to compose a written status update. You can write what you’d like to share and pick a background color and font.
3. Now, Tap Send.

How to Change Your Status Privacy

First, people whose numbers are not saved in your phone’s address book cannot see your status updates. You can share your status updates with all your contacts or selected contacts only. By default, your status updates are set to be shared with all your contacts.

To change your status privacy:

1. Go to the Status screen.
2. Tap the Menu Button > Status privacy.
3. Choose who can see your status updates.

Note: Changes to your privacy settings won’t affect the status updates you’ve already sent. Also, changing your privacy settings is extremely important if you want to hide your update from some selected contacts.
