I must admit that this very article is long overdue. I have been receiving, many requests to come up with a list of great decoders that can auto roll channels that are encrypted with BISS keys. At last, after much research, I am able to come up with some of the best BISS Auto-roll decoders. Before I goto the topic of the day, let us find out about what “Basic interoperable scrambling system”.
What is the full meaning and definition of “Basic interoperable scrambling system”(BISS)?
Basic interoperable scrambling system is usually known as BISS. BISS is a satellite signal scrambling system developed by the European Broadcasting Union and a consortium of hardware manufacturers.
Prior to its development, “ad-hoc” or “Occasional Use” satellite news feeds were transmitted without any encryption. This allowed anyone with the correct equipment to view the program material. Using BISS the transmission is protected by a 12 digit “session key” that is agreed by the transmitting and receiving parties prior to transmission. The key is entered into both the encoder and decoder, this key then forms part of the encryption of the digital TV signal and only receivers with the correct key will decrypt the signal. The system, however, is very insecure.

Tiger start decoders have two major advantages over other dongles out there as we speak. @Kilaranono: there are little or no more premium channels available on powervu for 3rd party-devices like yours. if you are bent on watching powervu channels, you need to ask the seller to know if their server supports your specified channels.

Hi Lemmy , I ‘m Pawel from Poland . Few days ago I received Skysat v10 plus decoder , have installed newest software v 1.885 ,connected it to Internet and I was trying to watch NHL Network feeds on SES 4
@ 22 West which are BISS key encrypted . No go , there is pretty strong signal around 85 % but the only thing I can see on the tv screen is : scramble program info.Any suggestion how to open those BISS channels would be appreciated .I have chosen this receiver based on Your review as I am totally new to this type of satellite broadcast. @Pawel: powervu iks decoders opens specified encrypted powervu channels only. I guess NHL is not among the list of channels receivable on powervu unofficial receivers

@Vilegas: irrespective of the decoder you are using. please use an online calculator like lyngsat and the likes to determine the dish size. For your convenience, i already provided some links to how you can do this. Meanwhile, tracking of satellite tv channels is the work of a professional installer. Maybe you should engage the service of one.

when it comes to Auto-roll decoders that can keep working without internet, which is better between Hellobox GSky v7 and GSKY V8. And this sentense is confusing “Their decoder line includes GSky v5, v6, hellobox v7 v8 and the most recent one, hellobox v5”.
Does it mean that V5 is the lattest?…between V5 and V8 which ones was realeased first???

Skysat s2020 is best for biss and powervu. Gsky sucks. Here in America, its terrible for sports. Skysat finds all biss codes within a minute most the gsky can not.
