Lemmy Morgan September 2017 satellite tv update
As you will expect, this is going to be a long post. However, I will try to make it all interesting. There shall be sub-headings for all the for major items that we shall cover today. Satellite FTA, IPTV, iks/sks, official decoders, grey marked decoders and LM extras.
Official satellite packages in Africa
DStv multi choice Africa is currently conduction promo sales on their decoders. Youcan get as much as three months subscription when you buy their HD decoder. You can learn more about this here.
Similarly, Beinsports are doing a promo on their bouquets. This promo cuts across all their packages namely: “Access, Top entertainment and top sports”. To qualify for their promo, you need to subscribe to their packages in four parts. After which you will receive 3 months free(on the same package). So if you are a bein subscriber, visit their nearest office to activate your promo.
Official but grey-marked decoders
Unlike the official satellite packages within you footprint areas, grey-marked decoders involve purchasing official decoders from outside its legal area of coverage. I do not help people to get grey-marked decoders. In Asia, MENA and the rest of Africa, you can grey-mark any decoder. Bein decoders are being used in Uganda even though DStv owns that place. Dstv Nigeria are bein sent to Ghana even though Ghana has their own DStv. We procure and use official canal plus decoder here in Nigeria even though we do not have the legal rights to used it. September 2017 satellite tv update- Free to Air
Two things are new and trending on free to air currently. These satellites are La liga pure HD and SD feeds on Eutelsat 10.0ºE and cama tv on Hotbird.
- About Laliga Feeds on Eutelsat 10.0deg East: (no specific names for this. It can be ch, or just numbers. they are like six in total) You need a minimum of a 1.8meter dish, you are strongly advised to employ the services of a professional installer if you are confused. You need a good C Band LNB, Good coaxial cable, you need a strong decoder or a sat finder if you want to get it faster. the tracking frequency is: 3737 v/r/ 7305 or 3737 /h/L 7305 . You may see the polarization as r or L in your decoder instead of the conventional H or V. When you are tracking, make sure you get like 78% quality or above before you give up.
You can get 59% and still see red. Strong decoders have the pedigree for attracting signal when compared to Qsat. After tracking it, you may be using any standalone decoders of your choice if you have the Biss keys. Yes, the feeds require a biss key to open. If you have Auto Biss decoders like Gsky v7, v6 or V8, then you do not need to worry about any keys. Finally, you should know that when you are dealing with a feed beam, you may need to wait until the event is being broadcast live before the channels start opening. Try this out and report back. You need a di-electric plate for this set it to the entrance of the c band LNBf.
- The Second most trending Free to air solution for Aug/Sept- Cama Tv group on Hotbird: The appearance and stability of this package actually wowed me. That is the reason why I use the image as the featured image of this post. I already dedicated a full post to this.
- Other free to air compatible satellite tv positions like Multitv, Amos, and so on can be found here
Satellite keys sharing(IKS) and Internet keys sharing(IKS) that are working as of today September 4, 2017
SKS idea started from the days of dongles like hawk, eclink, avatar microbox and so on. Tlink 900 HD took it to the next level. Today, the only semblance of sks that is left is powervu and biss encryption. If you want a decoder that can Auto-roll Powervu and Biss keys, then turn to the Gsky decoder series. If you want only powervu solutions, you can use any decoder out there that is still auto rolling powervu channels. I was informed that Freesat decoders are also capable of opening powervu and Biss channels.
Similarly, Iks came to overtake sks due to the lapses inherent in sks. Azsky heralds the movement. Qsat with their monstrous avatarcamhd back then took the revolution to the next level. Today, we are experiencing a change of guards. Tiger decoder series now have the IKS mettle. Tiger has an inbuilt IKS account known as “forever” account. Shockingly this account is doing the unthinkable. Learn more about tiger magic here. Qsat refuses to die without a fight. They are currently holding their front by their persistence in opening canal plus 22w channels via their Tcam on Cobox(q19g). Also, we have the likes of t-link gshare in the stream.
The last but not the least iks account that is currently making raves is cccam accounts. This is a kind of card sharing method of watching satellite tv. So many cccam accounts are currently working. The most popular one, however, remains European cccam accounts. This is capable of opening around 5 satellite packages at once. They include hotbird(except nova sports), 9e(except Cosmote sports. The only unofficial ways of watching cosmote or nova sports are through tiger). It also opens tvsat, startimes and my-tv. You can learn about the full details from my August update
